Hello Everyone – We have 300 Devices migrated to the new domain. P21 is operational with a few items to complete for Monday.
There are important documents soon to be linked above. Please share with those in your branches to ensure that everyone has the information they need to complete this project.

We have P21 operational. The systems that get migrated to the new domain tonight and are on the network tomorrow morning will be able to use P21. We are now creating an FAQ document, a support number and teams call, and further instructions for people who need assistance tomorrow morning.
Update 6/22 8:20AM
Morning! Progress has been made on P21. We continue to troubleshoot issues but we are making good progress. Data and reporting should begin troubleshooting and testing. M365 migration did slow down last night with the Teams and Sharepoint migration (Possibly due to Microsoft Throttling). Updates on this will be later this morning. Next steps would be defederation of domains, then pickup of domains in new tenant and external DNS Changes to be able to begin new Mailbox setup with company domains.

We are through the majority of the data migration for M365 (OneDrive etc..) working on Teams nexts. P21 is still down as we continue to troubleshoot. We will post when it becomes available again.

Cribmaster is up and running. We are continuing to troubleshoot P21 (mostly ensuring all the permissions are setup properly then reconfigure middleware servers. M365 Outlook and OneDrives continue to sync, next update will be between 9 and 10AM PST.
Update 6/21 2:50AM Atlantic
We have completed updating the domains on all of our production servers. We have begun testing of the applications including P21.

We continue to work through the server re-domaining. P21 is currently down. File Shares appear to be operational (J and W Drives). Email forwarding is now in place so all new emails are now going to LawsonProducts.ca
Update 6/20 8:30PM Atlantic
Hello Everyone:
We have begun the server redomaining process.
This means that servers (like P21, File Shares, etc..) will be unavailable for periods through the night starting now.
We will begin the email forwarding in 1 hour where ALL sourceatlantic.ca and souciesalosafety,com emails will be redirected to the new lawsonproducts.ca account **No new emails will be received into your current SA and SS accounts starting in 1 hour**.
We will keep you posted as we progress through our project milestones.
M365 and Outlook:
- SourceAtlantic and SoucieSalo emails will stop receiving emails at 8pm Atlantic tonight.
- They will begin to be forwarded to your new lawsonproducts.ca account.
- For those of you with your new lawsonproducts.ca account (many to be sent out in the next couple of hours) IF YOU NEED TO (ONLY IF YOU NEED TO) you can add the lawsonproducts.ca email account to your outlook as a new account to be able to receive emails. ***NOTE THIS IS A RISK TO THE PROCESS AND MUST ONLY BE COMPLETED IF ABSOLUTLY REQUIRED*** You will not be able to send emails from Source Atlantic or Soucie Salo emails between Friday night and Sunday. If you do HAVE TO setup your lawsonproducts.ca email into your outlook, any emails sent out will be from “lawsonproducts.ca” until Monday morning.
- None of your OCI accounts will work including your Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive starting from Sunday. All of this data will be moved to the new account.
- Until you have your PC migrated, you will need to use the web versions of M365.
- Open your browser in private/incognito mode, go to https://portal.office.com and log into your new lawsonproducts.ca account.
- You will have access to your Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point , Teams, OneDrive etc..
- You can add your lawsonproducts.ca email account to your PC and Phones Outlook on Monday so you can continue to communicate through your sourceatlantic.ca / souciesalo.com emails.
FOR LOGGING INTO P21:
- Beginning tomorrow morning, you will need to log into P21 using a user name like: LPCA\username (The username is your current username, ex mine will go from oci\mhanlon to lpca\mhanlon).
- The password will be your LawsonProducts.ca password (If you do not have one, we will have a support line available Monday to call/teams into).
WiFI:
WiFi for all branches (except Regina, Calgary, and Timmins) will change from OCI-Corporate to LPCA-Corporate.
Sleep Settings on PC
We have pushed out an update to all the PC’s online so that they do not go to sleep over the weekend.
If you would like to confirm your PC has this or to manually update your PC please follow this:
Using Settings:
- Open Settings: Click the Start button and select the Settings icon (gear icon).
- Navigate to Power & sleep: Go to System > Power & sleep.
- Adjust Sleep settings: Under the Sleep section, select Never from the dropdown menus for both On battery and Plugged in.
Using Control Panel:
- Open Power Options: Right-click the Start button and select Power Options.
- Choose a power plan: Select the currently active power plan and click on Change plan settings.
- Access advanced settings: Click on Change advanced power settings.
- Modify Sleep settings: Expand the Sleep section, then expand Sleep after. Change the time to Never for both On battery and Plugged in.
- Apply changes: Click Apply and then OK to save the changes.
